About MCE Research Group
MCE (Modelling and Computational Experiment) is one of research groups in the School of Computing in Telkom University. We focus on the studies related to Computational Mathematics, Computational Experiment, and Parallel Computing. There are three general issues related to the focus of our studies: (i) how to solve real problems with a computational approach through modelling, (ii) how to build efficient algorithms to solve computational problems, and (iii) how to solve complex computational problems with a high performance computing approach.
One of our researches: Phase-Resolved Wave Simulation in Cilacap Harbor
Phase-resolving wave simulations are performed to test breakwater configurations in a harbor in Indonesia. The simulations are performed by using a Boussinesq-type of model.
